Packers fan Lil Wayne makes 'Green and Yellow' Super Bowl 2011 song
Though he's from New Orleans, Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne has long been a fan of Green Bay Packers. The self-proclaimed "Cheesehead" remade a popular rap song by Pittsburgh native Wiz Khalifa, "Black and Yellow," which is no doubt a favorite of Steelers fans, to be "Green and Yellow" in honor of Super Bowl if you click on super bowl you can watch it live on super bowl day .
He first hinted about the song on hisFacebook page early Thursday (Feb. 3) morning, then posted the finished version this afternoon. You can hear the song here (Warning: True to Lil Wayne's previous works, there is cussing involved).
It's a bit corny, but as New Orleans Saints fans know, any pro-team anthem will get fans pumped for the big game.
